History of Premonition:

Premonition started to form around 1993 in the fine town of New Orleans. The craving for better music and performing groups is what started it all. At that time Barry Hay and Eddie Doyle met, little knowing that this was the beginning of a new frontier in the somewhat regimented New Orleans music scene.

The First Jump

Barry Hay decided that there was more to being a recording artist than just being a musician and wanting to have a record so the story goes on.... Realizing that, Barry started a an intern at Festival Studios, learning from only the best Rick Naiser, Gary Druliet, Ken Goode, and Keith Falgout. But it didn't take long for him to catch on, ("They said it would take him years") but that wasn't the case, getting the first try in the studio "Twisted Tragedy" on the air on Z100 WZRH 100.3 FM in regular rotation for more than 8 months. Including that, all the local dance clubs also participated with great excitement!!

The Recording Contract

After that Barry Hay searched out for an Indi record label to help them out..... And found SMC Entertainment. Owned by Steve Chouest attorney at law.... and the plot thickens. Having accumulated equipment between the three of us it was obvious that we should all put in together and open a recording & production studio. So It was so!
