LITTLE LEAGUE INCLUDES 5 LEAGUE LEVELS |
Tee Ball Ages 5-6. No tryouts are held. Players are assigned to teams. This league will utilize a tee for the first few weeks and then progress to coach pitch as the skills of the players improve. A parents meeting will be held after registration for the purpose of distributing the rules, assigning managers and coaches, and placing players on their teams. This league has been playing a 14 game season. |
Minor League Ages 7-11. This league is for players who are not chosen for the Major League by way of its draft or are too young for the Majors. Tryouts are held and players who are league age 7 are eligible to compete. We make an effort to balance the teams according to manager and coach evaluations at tryouts. There is normally an All Star game after the season with representatives from all teams. This league typically has a 15-18 game season. |
Major League Ages 9-12. All players in this age bracket who were not on the roster of a Major League team at the end of the previous season must tryout, including those who were on Minor League rosters. All Major League players 11 and 12 years old are eligible to be voted to the Little League World Series Tournament team. This league has been playing a 15-18 game season. |
