STRESS
Stress is a medical condition that
can have a serious effect on your health. The crises, dramas, problems and
pressures that can cause stress may not go away. What you can change is
your perception of how you feel about them, and how you'll deal with them.
As you become more relaxed and less stressed, you may perceive problems
and potential stressors differently so that they will no longer have the
power to make you stressed.
Confucius was a famous Chinese
philosopher who lived about 500 years before Christ. His teachings and
philosophy have had a profound and lasting effect upon the Chinese,
Korean, Vietnamese, and Japanese cultures.
He was apparently contemplating the
stresses of daily life when he said: "Life is really
simple, but we insist on making it complicated."
