JEFFREY T. GREENBERG

Jeffrey T. Greenberg was born in New Orleans in 1961.  Before receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from the Tulane University in 1991, Mr. Greenberg worked full time in his family optical business and part time as a musician in a local band. Greenberg left his musical aspirations behind, while he continued to work for Vision Plaza, which grew into the largest optical chain in the State of Louisiana.

While working at Vision Plaza during the day, he attended Tulane University and later Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans in the evenings in order to obtain his law degree.  In 1994 he received his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Loyola Law School.

After his admission to the Louisiana State Bar, Mr. Greenberg continued to work at Vision Plaza, becoming Vice President, General Counsel and Lease Coordinator in 1995. The bulk of his time was focused on lease negotiation with major Shopping Malls and Strip Centers, and contract negotiation with
Managed Care Organizations and health care providers.

In July 1997, Mr. Greenberg left the optical business to pursue a private law practice in downtown New Orleans, concentrating in the areas of business and trade practices and consumer and investor financial services litigation.

In November of 2000, he moved his practice to Metairie, joining Stephen M. Chouest and Associates, APLC.  Much of Mr. Greenberg's primary concentration involves areas of consumer litigation and personal injury law. Other practice areas include medical malpractice, defective product and services litigation and commercial lease law.
